Here at Swarm, we’re always searching for ways we can better serve our clients. Sometimes that involves new tools, processes, or strategies, but having the right people makes all the difference. That’s why we’re excited to welcome our newest Swarmer to the team, Corrie Smith, as Swarm's Account Director.
Corrie comes to Swarm with over 12 years of industry experience under her belt. She’s had the pleasure of working with some big names over the years, including UPS, The Home Depot, AIG, Novartis, and Boston Scientific to name a few. We’re excited to bring Corrie’s wit, experience, and digital expertise to the Swarm team!
We want you to know Corrie as well as we do, so we had her answer a few questions:
What are you most excited about joining the Swarm team?
The main reason why I was most excited about joining the Swarm team was because of the actual team. Swarm has a team of doers that are crazy smart and crazy passionate. They don’t overcomplicate tasks, they find simple solutions to make clients happy.
What did you want to be when you were little?
A lawyer...and not sure that was because I wanted to be that or if everyone kept telling me that I should be a lawyer because of how much I talk.
What initially drew you to this industry early in your career?
I was in medical sales and was always challenged with not having very good marketing collateral and tools to help complete the sell. So, I went to work for a boutique agency that focused on med device/pharma industries and fell in love with digital marketing.
What is the best advice you ever received?
Be authentic and genuine. We are all people and want to be treated like people, not like a deal. Just be kind.
If you were a superhero, what would your power be?
To freeze time! How amazing would it be to freeze time to go for a quick run or take a power nap?!
Favorite thing to do outside of work?
To be outside. I love to run, play golf, go hiking, anything active. And I love mentoring an amazing group of high school girls through my church.
What are you most excited to bring to Swarm’s clients?
To build on what the Swarm team already does, create real partnerships with their clients based on trust and loyalty, and turn out amazing work!
We’re excited to have her as a part of our team. She’s already making a positive impact on our clients and we know that she’ll keep that ball rolling.
